now were talkin. yes im building the 1.8l i will take your advice on the valves. i was considering it befor ehand but now that the guys down at my local machine shop told me why there better i will defiantly opt for sodium filled valves. i assume that i will probally have to stick with stock cams on...

its ok we have had a long battle with the parts store over the distributor. and were gettin a new one for a mx3. no changing wiring and it will work.
but now my problem is i need a new kl ecu

ya mabye. but i think its workable. i just got a no spark cndition with it. didnt fry the ecu but just didnt work. and the part is brand new

well i got a distributor for a 98 mazda millenia and the one off my 93 is broken. and where im at its like $350 for a new one.
so is there a way to change the wires on the plug to make it work. i am basically asking for some wiring diagrams. i have one for the mx3. but thats it.

well just figured it out. water sat in my distributor and it was arcing causing a misfire. but in the process of repairing my harness for the maf i fried my probe ecu. so it looks like im back to the k8 for now. if i can find the maf for it.
