ok, let me start to try and translate the rules :

Naturally Aspirated Gasoline Engines
Class 1 - from 595cc to 1400cc
Class 2 - from 1401cc to 1700cc
Class 3 - from 1701cc to 1900cc ( K8 class ... and Integras, B18 and that lot )
Class 4 - starting at 1901cc without limit AND 4WD cars
Then there are Diesel N/A cars, Boosted gas cars, Boosted diesel cars and the Superpro series with prototypes, Caterhams, and general race cars.
Then the rules... off course there are all the safety rules, but regarding the actual cars they are as follows:
The cars must have been sold by a major car company.
Any engine change must be looked at by the comity , and enter it's CC class.
All engines must come from a car, no bike engines and other sort's.
If the car was sold as a FWD , it cannot join as a RWD or 4WD. Rule for all transmissions
No NOS allowed
Slick tires not allowed, and Semi-Slick's like the R888 and similar's are still not allowed, but that can be changed in the near future.
Special Security rules:
cars must have windshield ( mandatory )
2kg fire extinguisher ( recommended )
Engine and electrical cutoff button easily seen ( recommended )
Tow rings in plain sight ( mandatory )
3 point seat-belt ( mandatory )
Mandatory 2 side-mirrors and rear view mirror ( except the cars with rear engine and exposed Firewall )
All wheelnuts ( mandatory )
and a few other stuff like working suspension and details. Interior can be removed .
Must have a final exhaust in all classes except Superpro
Octane boosters allowed
Original dashboard must be in working order, except for the Roll-Cage modifications
we can have sponsors, and stickers. but the championship has their own stickers that ALL cars must wear.
