 Re: MrMazda92's '92 GS "Tracy"
This was my first encounter with fellow forum members: It's sad that you can't see it, but this was before my GS lip bit the farm. I need to take the time and fix it, the work's already halfway finished.

 Re: MrMazda92's '92 GS "Tracy"
ethan, that photo was taken in MY driveway! Mark took it, but it's my house so it counts as 1/2 my photo! It's also the most current pic showing the car with wax on the paint. Currently she's back to her faded old self Dan, we were discussing an interesting "repair" made by the previous owner, and I wanted a second opinion. It's nice that I can actually flush my coolant again, the PO had made it impossible without a lot of extra work. I've seen the warehouse, it's like Area 51 Dan. It exists only in dreams for the common man, whereas the few elite get to plunder it's riches. Now... corny area 51 reference time over, I definitely want to try cooking on my exhaust manifold. Yumm. I think I'll weld a stainless sheet of metal onto my headers, and use it for a barbecue at car shows.

Ground Control Coilover Sleeves + Cusco Camber Plates
They said "let there be pictures", and there were pictures. Of my new sleeves!Try to ignore the carpet, for the record it is only the second ugliest in creation; the first was puke colored, and still festers in my old highschool. Ground Control sleeves with helper springs and Cusco camber plates, picked up from a gentleman on ClubProtege for a hell of a price. The fronts: Camber Plate closeup: The rears: For those who don't know, helper springs are often confused with tender springs. The former have a simple purpose: The job of a helper spring is to keep the primary spring firmly seated during hard cornering, when the non-compressed strut assembly(ies) is(are) slack. Typically helper springs are fully compressed, they will only expand when the load is removed from the affected corner. I won't go into tender springs here... Google them if you are curious. I like the look of this setup, the adjustability beats the crap out of my current setup, and they don't look half bad either. Now, I just need to find somebody willing to help me get them on and adjusted properly... Cold Beer and Subway is on me, volunteers appreciated! Although, experience is much preferred

Re: MrMazda92's '92 GS "Tracy" - *UPDATE* GC Coilover Sleeve
Very Nice! I am making my way down there later this month? Typically they will adjust them with the front driver and rear passenger a touch higher than the other two to keep more of a 50/50 when you are seated in the car. I had my RX8 done at a local shop and learned way more about proper balancing then I had ever put into it before, my GS was balanced at the same place coincidentally before I got it, and its the same way.

Well it's greatly thanks to your heads up about the sale! Well if cold beer, subway, and very dirty hands appeal to you, I'd love the help! If/when you're in the area, just PM me here for my phone number, and we can work something out!
