BPT engine swap other than a mx-3
I just recently crashed my beloved bpt swaped modified mx-3. I'm trying to replace it with another mx-3 but I can't find any good mx-3 that are in a good condition for me to swap the engine out. The engine survived the crash at least 90 percent of it. So since i cant find any good condition mx-3 I would like to swap it to another mazda. I know mazda 3 and the protege are in the same family but my question is can I swap a bpt engine into one of them or another car with ease? I would appreciate for any feed back anyone has be it good or bad. Thanks

Mazda 323 Mazda protege (pre 1998) Escort (1.8L) 91-96ish
Those are the only decent options.

Ford Festiva Merkur XR4Ti (already turbo) Mazda BF 323 (pre 1990) Mercury Tracer Mazda Miata Kia Sephia Ford Aspire
Just a few odd balls that Ive seen with BP's swapped in. The Tracer LTS came with a BP. Escort GT also had a BP. The Miata is obviously RWD. The BF I think came with a 1.6t in the GTX (along with 4x4).

Thanks alot and I'll check out the buy section in this forum. Also all the cars will have to OBD1 for me to swap out the engine right, cause I heard if I try to swap in the engine into a OBD2 car it wont pass emmission. Does anyone know idf thats true?
