Heh i was bored and someone just told me that an RX8 has 700hp stock, so i decided to write this.
What is the dumbest thing you have heard about mazda's or maybe even car's in general about performance and what not.

Civics are the best cars ever! hahahaahhaa

"looks like you need some new muffler bearings"
"You need a can of compression"
"How about some racing air in your tires?"
"Ahhh the best way to polish your car is with 1 Million grit sandpaper"

We used all of these in shop class. Not really Mazda related.

Just heard this one:

"I heard the internet is going to be purged today at noon, and they said that I will lose all the data on my computer, if its up and running. Is that true?"

if anyone has ever seen the guy with the 2000red mustang gt in the extras on the mischief 3000 dvd then you know what dumb things this guy says "its a special edition running 11's stock" The then interviewer asks "is that turboed?" the guy answers "yeah its a turboed v8 too" interviewer "what kind of intercooler you got" "uhh i dont know it came with the turbo" then he asks if he has a 8cylinder rotary they guys like "yup" then the interviewer says "so you have a red mustang gt with the v8 and the turbo intercooled rotary" "yeah thats it"

it had a cheapo GT-R emblum stuck on it, was funny as hell

"My Passat VR6 has over 425 hp."

Note: This kid thought he could get this without any fuel management, turbos, nitrous, or superchargers. All he has is a new muffler and low compression pistons (for an upcoming 'Turbo' project).

nevermind i erased my comment, it was not necessary... i have seen a mustang "gt-r" before though... i don't remember many of the dumbest things related to cars i've heard... i remember more than once however having to explain to someone that cars need oil and they need it changed every x amt of miles... why don't people know this?
