yeah me too ! :)

As for the bracket i'll add some info.

ATX to MTX foot controls :

This is going to be through trial and error as I have not found any info on what I am personally attempting. The first stage of getting a 3rd pedal ( clutch ) is typically removing the old ATX brackets and installing a MTX bracket from another car. IN my case, I am going to just grind off the dummy clutch bracket for 3 main reasons instead of removing.

1 : The entire process of removing the brake & clutch bracket assembly is time consuming and possibly a little more in technical and mechanical depth then some may be able to cope with - My method may help open doors for some other guys. I on the other hand am very mechanically inclined =)

2 : The whole reason it seems to me that others opt for the entire bracket assembly removal/replace is because the clutch dummy bracket has no mounting points for the clutch pedal , the spring nor the proper holes for the sensors. This is a huge issue and the main reason IMO. I only paid a few bucks for a clutch pedal/bracket/sensor assembly from the JY from a 94 MX-3.

3 : With doing it the way I want to I can also keep the cost a little bit lower with a stand alone clutch bracket from a 94+ MX-3 which uses the same mount holes as the 93- cars however uses a single stand alone bracket for the clutch pedal. By this I mean it isn't connected to the brake bracket like the ATX one is.

This process will probably be the only thing that differs from the typical swap/write up. I will keep everyone posted with progress and pictures. I am just starting out on this project and am in no immediate rush so I will be able to create lots of visuals for help and make sure I do everything the right way.

So I didnt get a chance to work on my swap stuff today nor did I get to any sanding or anything else due to crummy rain and cold winds =(

What I was able to do though was put some LED lights in my shroud and put my cluster back together.

Assembled :

Will take it for a spin tonight to check the overall look with everything going on and how it illuminates. I don't care if you guys like it or not , I do :freak:

I think it's a fine idea. Red agitates me, and would probably encourage my road rage, which is barely kept in check as it is  so I would do a nice blue, or something. That gunmetal color looks great. I wanted to put in my clear guage rings, and get a couple of lasers to point at them to light them up. I've got plenty of other stuff to do first, though.

Haha yeah but red is my second favorite color so what can I say =)

Also with the intensity of the LED lights right there it puts out way too much light at night therefor I am going to get a rheostat dimmer dial to be able to dim the lights enough to enjoy them instead of being annoyed by them.

On another note : Finished drywalling my basement...yay.

Why don't you just wire them into the OEM dimmer?
Congrats on the drywall. It feels good to see the difference!

Well mainly because there may be times when I don't want them on at all. If I do a stand alone dimmer/kill switch then I can turn them on/off as desired.

Post Re: Eggyrollz's Worklog.
Ok so the newest thing i've done with the car was installed a remote entry/alarm/remote start system. Real easy to do and only took me about an hour with the complete installation. I've broken 2 keys off in the door because of a sticky lock and I was tired of it. =(

Like I said it was really easy and if anyone else wants to undergo the task of installing a remote start , keyless entry or alarm or a 3x combo ( like me =) ) then this will mostl likely help. Perhaps it can be put into the manual or whatever due to it's simplistic layout.

Well I sold my Green 92' and am keeping my then purple / now black 92 GS. Since they are the same car I won't open another thread just continue on with this one.

It was purple now it's black..and a better even coat of paint at that then the rattle can purple it was over the ORIGINAL Black...makes me think "What the hell...."

Anywho , i've gutted a lot of stuff out of it. My plan is to turn it more or less into an AUTO-X car for the majority of it's use so heres some pics...

Well I came across a really good deal on some MUGEN seats and a FMIC so I got them both...for $50.00 =D

FMIC - For 3KGT
Image

MUGEN Seats - For MX-3
Image
Image

Installed MUGEN D-Side

The seats fit great and the driver side is only about 1" higher than stock due to the stock seat having that weird lump/dip effect to the support rail. Other than that it's great. I mounted them to the stock frame sliders and now I have fully adjustable seats =)

the passanger side is measured and drilled and all that jazz I just ran out of light to work in haha.
