i haven't been so lazy lately!

I sharpie'd my CF eyelids cause i had to pull them them off again cause i traded diezzel my mismatched headlight for his so we both had matching sets about a year ago lol, one was shiney and one was grey so now i have a matching grey set.

So i finally wired the light for my boost gauge so i can see it at night, it only took about.....2 years? maybe 3, it was put in the car when i did the BPT swap hahahahahaha

I just tapped it to the dimmer but i accidentally wired it to the switch wire and not the dimmer wire, whatever though cause i'm using an LED bulb and i don't think they dim well.
So for anyone wanting to tap to the dimmer and be able to dim, use the solid red wire, but the red wire w/ black stripe.

It looks a little more blue in the picture than it is but i'm using a white LED with a green sleeve i that came with the boost gauge so it only makes sense, i think i'll get a green LED in the future along with the dash.

i've been thinking about this and thought i would get the measurements of our rads and see what mishimoto might have in that size with the outlet ports in generally the right spot and make it work, i'm not very worried about the mounting points cause then i can get fancy ones lol
Mind you if it's just an aftermarket rad you should really take a look around CP because a lot of the guys over there are already running aftermarket ones and their chassis really aren't that different as you already know.

Didn't take any pictures cause i was rushing to do it to get it done before work but i installed a new disty cap and rotor, the old one's needed to be replaced when i swapped the engine, they were actually so bad when i swapped that i had to sand the contacts down to get all the cylinders to fire LOL
I'm planning on getting new spark plugs and wires to hopefully help my gas mileage as it isn't great but not horrible either, for boost i can live with it but i really do think it's the spark plug wires because those are unknown age as they came with the engine when i swapped it and they're already discolored a bit so they're probably pretty old XD

But seriously, what happened? Why are you throwing in the towel? I'm guessing you're just tired of working out all the random bugs it has?

He just wants attention. Don't give it to him. He has to learn he can't get what he wants by crying.

Basically, it's kind of horrible timing with life so i really can't take care of this thing and more importantly you shouldn't have to replace things you already replaced with brand new parts.
i went to go get an alignment and the guy told me my passenger ball joint was worn out and i was like, "uhhh, no? i replaced it like 2 months ago or less" but sure enough there was play in the f---ing thing and so i had to pay their stupid asses for a hoist fee/front end inspection further putting me in the deep hole i'm already in, but i wanted to get an alignment because my car's eating up tires like mad.
One of the brand new wheel bearings are gone and is loud as hell and s---, and even though rockauto is replacing my parts free of charge, it's still a f---ing b---- to replace a wheel bearing, especially when i shouldn't f---ing have to cause i already did it 2 months ago.
And this is my own fault but it doesn't help the situation of me being pissed off at thing stupid f---ing thing and can't afford anything but i lost my god damn wheel lock key.

No matter what i do the "to do" list just keeps f---ing growing and growing even though i already did half the s--- i f---ing needed.

you know me all too well lol
but i'm not actually joking, if someone wants this thing as a price i'm alright with, i'll drop this thing like.....something that gets dropped easily lol

Hey man, one step at a time. The wheel bearing is probably going bad because of a bad hub. A bad hub will tear up a bearing in a couple months.

Also the ball joint could be going bad because of a bad bolt on the spindle. It could be allowing the ball joint to flex in it's set area.

they're not on the same side though, the driver side wheel bearing and the passenger side ball joint

honestly i know it's not much work but i'm f---ing poor as s--- and i already have serious issues in life, not to mention anger issues, i don't want this f---ing thing making everything that much harder.
The god damn celica i got from my brother was never maintained and never really cared for drives fine even now besides needing new brakes. I put my sweat and blood into thing peice of s--- and it throws it in my god damn face.

i don't know man, i just need a serious long break from this but i have no f---ing money to be able to just do that. i need a car to drive everyday to work and i can't insure 2 cars, i switched my celica to parking and they said it needs to be in parking for at least 2 months and s--- but even then i'd need to f---ing replace the brakes on that thing, not to mention it burns oil so i need to buy oil to fill it every week.
it's all just life f---ing me in the a-- and i want to get rid of s--- and simplify things

hub eats wheel bearing. lift the drivers side tire off the ground. Take the tire off and try to move the hub of the spindle back and forth. You'll notice it will flex, there will be some play in it. That means that the hub is worn down, and the flex/play between the wheel bearing and the center hub, is killing them.
I went through 2 wheel bearings on my drivers side RS because of this same reason. The hubs are affordable to replace.

The ball joint though has a bolt that threads through the spindle, and locks the ball joint firmly in. Sometimes that bolt will strip out. they're not related to each other, the wheel bearing/hub issue and the ball joint.

so do i need a new spindle too? or is it just the hub that's damaging the bearing?

in the end though this still leads to money, which i don't have to be able to buy the part and fix it so it's almost useless to be talking about it anyways

thanks for the help superk, if i had replaced the wheel bearing and it happened agian, i probably would have just drove it off a cliff.
i'll see what i can do, hopefully i can finally fix this damn thing
